Melbourne Recital Centre

Melbourne Recital Centre launches into life today with a fortnight of concerts and workshops celebrating beautiful music-making. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear the incredible clarity of the Elisabeth Murdoch Hall in full flight. This will be the venue for our Asia-Pacific Chamber Music Competition in July – purpose-built for ensemble playing and armed with superb resources for broadcasting, recording and entertaining.

Congratulations to all at Melbourne Recital Centre and let the music begin.

Happy Birthday, Dame Elisabeth!

All of us at Chamber Music Australia send the warmest 100th birthday wishes to our Patron, Dame Elisabeth for this coming Sunday!
Dame Elisabeth joined with Sir Rupert Hamer to found our organsiation and her belief and loyalty have allowed us to help many young chamber ensembles realise their ultimate goals of securing performing careers in Australia and beyond.
On behalf of these musicians, we wish to say congratulations and an enormous thank you. We’ll certainly be raising a glass in your honour!
